Job summary

Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce team in Bellevue, WA seeks a Data Analyst to leverage data and analytics to identify gaps, measure impact, and drive decisions that improve the returns experience. You will partner with cross‑functional teams, own end‑to‑end initiatives, and communicate insights to non‑technical audiences.

You will write SQL queries, surface gaps, track project health, and build automated reporting or dashboards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Experience working in an analytical environment with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data, track program health, and drive decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience in an analytical or program management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Use data and analytics to identify operational gaps, drive business decisions, and own resolution with partner teams.
• Employ the appropriate tools and methodologies to discover patterns of risks, abuse, and help reduce bad debt.
• Analyze customer behavioral patterns and develop policy change recommendations based on findings and drive implementation with partner teams.
• Leverage data to influence partner teams and drive prioritization to get issues resolved.
• Write SQL queries and leverage data to surface gaps, track project health, and report on outcomes.
• Work closely with business, engineering, and partner teams to align on priorities and deliver against your focus area.
