Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Insights Business Analyst to lead strategic initiatives in Reverse Logistics performance optimization. You will leverage data analytics to build reporting, perform root-cause analyses, and standardize processes across the network.

The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership. Key focus areas include SQL-based data interrogation, Python for analytics, and AWS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with SQL
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Responsibilities

• Drive the development, implementation, and scaling of standardized processes, policies, and best practices across the organization.
• Provide expertise to align the standardization program with evolving policies and coordinate rollouts.
• Develop scalable strategies to roll out standardized processes across the network, addressing roadblocks and optimizing the approach using data insights.
• Interacting with Databases and Datasets to interpret data to conduct root cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of standardized processes and policies.
• Create of utilize various reporting mechanisms to partition data into easily digestible visual for downstream customers
