Job summary

Georgia State University’s Office of Sponsored Programs seeks a Data Analyst Associate to join the URSA team in Atlanta. You will transform complex data into meaningful insights, develop automated reporting, and deliver dashboards and visualizations using Python, SQL, Power BI, and other tools.

You will report to the Web Developer Lead and support enterprise research systems. The role emphasizes data integrity, system enhancements, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience.
• Experience with Workday Financials/Grants or similar ERP is preferred.
• Proficiency with SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Grant Accounting System (Workday) and related research administration systems.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and analytical reports.
• Support operational and executive reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution.
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, and semi-annual enhancements.
• Monitor data integrity and recommend corrective actions.
• Support data integration, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement system improvements and enhance user experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides related to enterprise research systems.
