Job summary

Centric Consulting in Omaha, NE is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance Senior Manager - Data & AI Governance to lead strategic client engagements focused on Data Governance, AI Governance, and responsible AI adoption. You will partner with executives to develop governance frameworks while enabling innovation and managing risk.

This role emphasizes building trusted data foundations, scalable governance programs, and aligning practices with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, Data Governance, Data Management, AI Governance, Technology Consulting, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams, programs, or large-scale enterprise initiatives.
• Proven experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, controls, and operating models.
• Experience leading initiatives in regulated or highly complex business environments.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Lifecycle Management practices.
• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, analytics, or emerging technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to engage executive stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect governance initiatives to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Governance, Data Management, and AI Governance engagements for clients across multiple industries.
• Design and implement governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, and controls for responsible AI.
• Advise on enterprise AI governance programs, risk assessments, approval processes, and monitoring.
• Facilitate governance councils, steering committees, and executive forums for prioritizing data/AI initiatives.
• Partner with data science, analytics, engineering, and business teams to set AI observability standards.
• Drive enterprise data quality, metadata management, data cataloging, and stewardship programs.
• Lead initiatives that advance organizational maturity in data management and AI adoption.
• Develop Data Literacy and AI Literacy programs to raise awareness and capability.
