Job summary

Netcompany seeks a Data & AI Governance Consultant to design, configure, and monitor data governance and AI governance practices. You will ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment around data usage across projects in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other relevant fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management roles.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Knowledge Catalog and/or Microsoft Purview.
• Strong understanding of data catalogs, data quality tools, data lineage, and stewardship processes.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and general compliance frameworks.
• Experience working in cloud environments (IBM Cloud, Azure, or AWS).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Data Governance tools (IBM Knowledge Catalog, Microsoft Purview).
• Design and implement data governance policies (e.g., data classification, access control).
• Develop and maintain metadata assets, business glossaries, and stewardship models.
• Document data governance processes and provide training/onboarding to users.
• Monitor data quality metrics and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR).
• Support the implementation of AI Governance practices (model lineage, fairness, auditability).
• Collaborate with IT, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
