Job summary

Metronet is seeking a Damage Prevention Specialist to lead safety training, investigations, and program development across our network. You will coach contractors, analyze field risks, and drive proactive solutions while ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

The role requires strong training delivery, risk assessment, and collaboration with management to strengthen safety culture and prevent damage incidents. Travel and fieldwork are expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in related field with 3+ years of damage prevention or safety experience.
• Working knowledge of Federal, state, local safety, and OSHA standards.
• Willingness to obtain trainer certifications and licenses as needed.
• Experience conducting group and individual training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead training and auditing efforts for damage prevention programs.
• Conduct post-damage investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement damage prevention training with the safety director.
• Coordinate safety training across departments and contractors.
• Perform safety audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
