UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead a team of Damage Prevention Technicians in the West Columbia, SC area. You will plan daily and weekly work, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety standards align with company goals.

The role reports to the Operations Center Manager and requires strong supervision, client coordination, and the ability to hire and develop staff while maintaining quality and efficiency on projects.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field teams and coordinating field operations.
• Strong safety culture and compliance with procedures.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and allocate resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build and supervise a team of Damage Prevention Technicians.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture for all employees.
• Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control.
• Audit field personnel to ensure quality standards.
• Provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees, and the public.
• Assist Center Manager in staffing and hiring decisions.
• Assist Technicians with locating utilities and coordinating field work.
• Collaborate with HR to identify staffing needs and hiring.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain appearance.
• Develop and mentor technicians; oversee engagement and morale.
• Complete Job Safety Observations and manage weekend work as needed.
