UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead Damage Prevention Technicians, coordinate daily work plans, and uphold safety standards across field operations. The role emphasizes team leadership, client liaison, and performance management in a dynamic utility infrastructure environment.

The Field Supervisor will drive operational excellence, mentor technicians, and collaborate with HR for staffing. Expect occasional weekends and travel as needed, with a competitive compensation package

• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain professional appearance.
• Validate and approve daily time reports.
• Mentor technicians and drive engagement and morale.
• Complete Job Safety Observations (JSOs).
• Handle ticket production and weekend work as needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Team at UtiliQuest, LLC as aField Supervisor. UtiliQuest, LLC, a leading provider of quality underground utility damage prevention for over three decades. The Field Supervisorreports directly to the Operations Center Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will manage the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks. He/She will assess the work performance of their employees and identify areas that need improvement. The Field Supervisor will also ensure that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met, set goals for the technicians and make sure they comply with the company’s plans and vision.

What you’ll do

• Build and supervise a team of Damage Prevention Technicians who are driven and understand the key performance indicators and economic engines of the business.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture for all employees.
• Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control is in place.
• Conduct audits on field personnel to ensure quality standards are being met.
• Conduct performance reviews and provides regular performance feedback and development opportunities for technicians
• Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees, and the public
• Assist Center Manager in identifying strengths and weaknesses of Damage Prevention Technicians.
• Assist Technicians with locating difficult to find utilities.
• Collaborate with the HR and Talent Acquisition Team to identify staffing needs, interview and make final hiring decisions.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a professional appearance
• Validate and approve daily personnel time reports
• Develops, mentor and evaluate technicians and has the overall responsibility for employee engagement and morale.
• Complete JSO’s (Job Safety Observations) of technicians
• Ticket production and weekend work required, as needed.
• Completes other duties, as needed

What you’ll need

• Completes and maintains all training
• Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
• Maintain punctuality and attendance at all shifts and training sessions
• Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours
• Regular use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools
• Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Hearing and speaking to exchange information
• The employee shall follow all safety rules at all times
• Will need to have the ability to work a flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends) as needed.

The wage range for Supervisor Locating is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
