GFT seeks a Dam Engineer to join our team in Texas, with consideration for NM, CO, OK, AR, or LA. The role emphasizes dam safety, hydrology, hydraulics, and embankment/spillway design, with opportunities to lead medium-to-large projects and coordinate across disciplines.

We value a PE license, a civil/environmental engineering degree, and 8+ years in dam/hydraulic engineering, plus familiarity with HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HY-8, and EPA SWMM. Hybrid work, competitive pay, and growth await.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in civil, water resources, dam safety or hydraulic engineering.
• PE license and degree in civil/environmental engineering are required.
• Experience with dam safety principles and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze dam embankments, seepage and slope stability.
• Lead large or complex engineering assignments with QA/QC oversight.
• Prepare proposals, manage project teams, and collaborate with clients.
• Provide observation support during construction phases and cost proposals.
