Job summary

GFT is seeking a talented Dam Engineer to join our team in Texas. This role involves designing and analyzing various types of dam structures, leading complex projects, and managing engineering assignments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, 5-10 years of relevant experience, and be a Registered Professional Engineer.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in water resources, mining, or dam projects.
• Field experience with geotechnical explorations and construction activities.
• Project Management experience (PMP) and/or advanced technical certification (BCEE) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze dam embankments and flood control structures.
• Lead large or complex engineering assignments and manage project teams.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
