Axxess is seeking a highly motivated licensed attorney to join our legal team as Legal Counsel to support our General Counsel in managing the legal affairs of a dynamic technology company by providing strategic legal advice and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Texas state bar in good standing.
0–3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
Experience with SaaS, technology, or employment law is a plus.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including SaaS agreements, software licenses, service agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and employment contracts.
Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations and align with company policies to mitigate risk.
Support the General Counsel on advising internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of SaaS transactions and technology-related contracts.
Advise on employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace policies, and terminations to comply with labor laws.
Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact company operations and advise on adjustments.
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to contract management, regulatory compliance, and employment law.
Be a key member of the legal team, stepping in to contribute as needed to accomplish tasks.
