Job summary

Dominium, a leader in affordable housing development and management, offers a Development Intern role in Dallas. You’ll support analysts and project partners across the development lifecycle, including market studies, financial modeling, and due diligence, with a focus on learning and growth.

The internship runs in summer and provides exposure to tax credit applications, project planning, and construction administration within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Clear verbal and written communication with team and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate demographic trends, rental rates, and opportunities.
• Prepare and update financial models and cash flow projections for development projects.
• Assist with evaluation of prospective acquisitions and data organization.
• Compile documentation for financing and tax credit submissions.
• Maintain project trackers, schedules, and construction matrices.
• Review investment and due diligence materials under guidance of the team.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to support development activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
