Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Development Intern in Dallas to support market analysis, financial modeling, and project coordination for affordable housing communities. You will assist analysts and developers across the development process, including due diligence, financing, and scheduling.

Starting January 7, 2027 and ending May 21, 2027, this on-site internship offers exposure to market research, financial analysis, and collaboration with project partners in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
• Clear communication, both written and verbal, with team members and partners.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Works well independently and with others; discreet with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze demographic trends and rental factors for potential development opportunities.
• Build and update financial models, cash flow projections, and feasibility analyses.
• Review prospective acquisitions and organize relevant financial, market, and asset data.
• Prepare materials for financing and tax credit applications and submissions.
• Maintain project timelines, schedules, and development trackers.
• Review investment agreements and due diligence materials under guidance.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on planning, due diligence, and development activities.
• Attend sessions and perform other duties as assigned.
