Job summary

Dominium Management Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Development Intern for a summer on-site program. The intern will support analysts, participate in market research, financial modeling, and tax credit applications to advance affordable housing projects.

This paid full-time internship runs roughly June to August 2027, with rolling applications beginning in fall 2026 and interviews starting mid-October 2026.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing is preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate demographic trends and rental factors.
• Prepare and update financial models, cash flow projections for development projects.
• Assist with evaluation of potential acquisitions and organized data for due diligence.
• Compile documentation for financing, tax credit, and funding submissions.
• Maintain construction matrices, schedules, and project trackers.
• Review investment documents and due diligence materials under supervision.
• Collaborate with development team and partners to support planning and milestones.
• Maintain punctual attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
