Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Executive – Government to lead government and public-sector projects in Dallas, overseeing preconstruction through closeout, with heavy emphasis on executive oversight and business development.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurements, and compliance, build relationships with contracting officers, respond to RFPs, and guide project teams while safeguarding HITT's interests and delivering high-quality, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience with a GC.
• Experience delivering government/public-sector projects.
• Ability to oversee full project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout.
• Knowledge of government contracting, procurement, documentation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight of government and public-sector projects.
• Lead preconstruction activities including budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and subcontractor engagement.
• Review estimates, scopes of work, bid packages, and subcontractor proposals.
• Lead responses to RFPs and RFQs with Preconstruction and Business Development teams.
• Develop relationships with government agencies and contracting officers.
