Job summary

Confidential is a private equity backed healthcare technology company seeking a Director, Business Operations & Strategy to join its executive team in Dallas. The role is onsite, reporting to a C-suite leader, and involves turning analysis and insights into actionable decisions.

You will partner with the CEO and board, drive M&A strategy, and own the creation of sponsor updates and investor decks. The position offers a clear path to Chief of Staff or VP-level responsibility.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience, including 3+ years in top-tier strategy roles or related fields.
• Direct experience with CEO, C-suite, or Board on strategic materials.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; strong writing with a conclusion-first approach.
• Daily use of AI tools to produce executive work product.
• Ability to influence across functions without formal authority; discretion on sensitive information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO, Board, and sponsor on strategy and execution.
• Lead Board decks, sponsor updates, and investor presentations from inputs to finished materials.
• Drive M&A strategy including diligence, synergy analysis, and value capture.
• Write decision memos framing options and recommendations.
• Own cross-functional problems and drive to a decision.
• Run executive operating cadence: leadership agendas, commitments, OKR cycle.
• Set standard for AI-enabled executive work with verified, sourced numbers.
