Machinify in Dallas, TX is seeking a Director, Business Operations & Strategy to translate executive strategy into finished materials and closed action loops, including Board decks, sponsor updates, and decision memos. You will own the narrative from analysis to final presentation, pairing this with rigorous follow-through and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Seven to twelve years of professional experience in strategy functions.
• Board-level or investor-level materials ownership and narrative.
• Direct experience with a CEO or Board in a senior role.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Daily use of AI tools to produce executive work product.
• Fluency with Notion and Slack.
• Exceptional written communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Build decision memos with options, rationale, risks, owners, and target dates.
• Run market, competitor, and client analysis to support go-to-market decisions.
• Partner with Finance on value capture and EBITDA bridge inputs.
• Tackle problems with no owner and drive to a recommendation.
• Build strategic analysis and investment thesis for target acquisitions.
• Quantify synergy capture with assumptions and milestones.
• Support due diligence end-to-end from mapping to presentation.
• Create Board decks and sponsor materials from raw inputs to final form.
• Run executive pre-reads, version control, and dissemination discipline.
• Collaborate with Communications on CEO messaging and briefs.
• Prepare weekly/monthly Executive agendas and trackers.
• Maintain action-item hygiene in Notion and OKR cycles.
• Document decisions with owners and rationale.
• Leverage AI to produce drafts and reusable workflows.
