Job summary

FedEx Corporation in Dallas, TX seeks an Export Documentation Specialist to ensure efficient movement and clearance of export freight. You will create AWB, Commercial Invoice, EEI filings, COO requests, and coordinate with customers, operations, regulatory and legal teams.

This role requires 18 months in international transportation or brokerage, knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, and the ability to work independently; training on COSMOS, K2, EPOS and related systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) months work experience in international transportation, freight forwarding or brokerage.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and procedures.
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training.

Responsibilities

• Create export shipping documents including AWB, Commercial Invoice, EEI filing, USMCA and COO requests.
• Communicate with customer, operations, sales, Regulatory and Legal to ensure proper documentation.
• Educate customers on creating shipping documents via FedEx.com websharing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
