Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Dallas, TX to support daily operations and leasing activities. You will assist the Community Manager with reporting, rent processing, lease renewals, and team supervision while ensuring excellent resident services.

The role requires strong communication, basic bookkeeping, and familiarity with property management software. This is an onsite position with potential for growth within a large, equity-backed organization.

Qualifications

• Previous property management industry experience.
• State leasing license or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and month-end reporting on resident ledgers.
• Post rent, collect delinquency, manage eviction process, create POs and daily deposits.
• Post notices to vacate and manage community communications.
• Secure and manage lease renewals and prepare renewal paperwork.
• Walk property daily to inspect conditions and confirm standards.
• Respond to emails, voicemails and texts from residents.
• Assist in hiring and training of new staff.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and maintain property knowledge.
• Oversee operations in Community Manager’s absence.
• Assist with leasing duties including tours and lease preparation.
• Prepare final account statements and coordinate collections.”
