Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Vat/EFV Operator II in Jerome, ID to operate and maintain the vat process, monitor milk mixtures, and log process data. The role requires reading SOPs and HACCP procedures, with two years of relevant experience and strong mechanical aptitude.

The position offers a starting wage of $28.02 per hour, with planned increases and a benefits package including health, 401(k) matching, PTO, holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a food service, food plant or sanitation environment required.
• Good Mechanical aptitude required.
• Able to read and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the vat process.
• Ensure connections for starter inject are made and process start acknowledged.
• Operate and monitor the pasteurized and standardized milk with cultures and other ingredients.
• Monitor vats filling with milk.
• Mix and prepare ingredients.
• Add ingredients at intervals and take samples.
• Log variables at frequent intervals.
