Job summary

Agropur in Jerome, ID is seeking a Vat/EFV Operator II to join our dairy production team. You will operate and maintain the vat process, ensure starter inject connections, monitor vats, mix ingredients, sample, and log data in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a food service or food plant setting, with good mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the vat process.
• Ensure starter inject connections and acknowledge process start button.
• Monitor vats filling with milk; mix and prepare ingredients.
• Add ingredients at intervals and take samples; log variables regularly.
