Job summary

Agropur, inc. in Jerome, ID is seeking a Vat/EFV Operator II to operate and maintain the vat process. The role focuses on safely mixing pasteurized and standardized milk with cultures and other ingredients while ensuring process start cues and proper sampling.

The ideal candidate has a high school education or equivalent and at least two years of related experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a food service, food plant or sanitation environment required.
• Good Mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all connections for starter inject are made and acknowledge process start button.
• Operate and monitor the mixture of pasteurized and standardized milk with cultures and other ingredients.
• Monitor the vats filling with milk; mix and prepare ingredients.
• Add various ingredients at appropriate intervals and take samples.
• Monitor and log variables at frequent intervals.
