Agropur Cooperative seeks a Starter Room Operator in Jerome, ID to safely operate and monitor starter, vat pasteurization, media prep, and related equipment. You will ensure quality, comply with QA policies, and record all data on make sheets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience necessary; in-house training provided.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate, sanitize, maintain and monitor starter and related equipment.
• Manufacture starter to conform with internal specs and expectations.
• Monitor process for quality and efficiency; adhere to QA policies and report food-safety issues.
• Record keeping on charts and make sheets; monitor temperatures and phage results.
