Job summary

Ornua is seeking a FSQ Technician I to support production in our North America facility in Wisconsin. You will learn inspection procedures, support GMP, HACCP, and SQF programs, and assist with internal audits to protect food safety and quality.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math skills, and willingness to work in a dairy manufacturing environment with PPE. We offer competitive pay, a quarterly bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, speak and write in English.
• Ability to calculate figures and measurements.
• Experience with Dairy industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn inspection procedures and analytical methods.
• Help with special projects as directed by FSQ Lead.
• Support Positive Release and Hold programs.
• Assist SQF practitioners with audits and reviews.
• Perform Redzone QMS inspections.
• Get trained for internal audits.
• Follow GMPs and safety requirements.
• Inform management of food safety risks and non-conformances.
• Apply customer and regulatory food safety standards.
• Aid decision-making, risk assessment, and problem solving.
• Complete tasks assigned by FSQ Lead.
