Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. seeks a Quality Technician for our 24/7 dairy manufacturing facility in New York. You will collect samples, perform analytical testing, calibrate equipment, and ensure data integrity across QA processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with Associate’s in Food/Dairy Science preferred, and strong math, communication, and computer skills. Shift rotations include 12-hour schedules with night premiums.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's in Food/Dairy preferred.
• Experience with food quality specs and process monitoring is preferred.
• Training/certifications in quality and food safety are a plus.
• Understanding of SQF, QA/QC, HACCP, GMP concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs analytical testing of ingredients, packaging, and finished dairy products.
• Identify out-of-spec results and communicate deviations per SOPs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and prepare stock solutions.
• Enter data into systems and maintain QA records with accuracy.
