Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring for a on-site New York receiving/quality role in a 24/7 dairy plant. You will inspect bulk tanker operations, collect samples, and perform sensory and physical tests while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company SOPs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in dairy manufacturing, lift truck certification, and strong math/communication skills. 12-hour rotating shifts with a shift premium apply; apply via recruiter email.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in food manufacturing; dairy experience preferred.
• Quality/food safety training or certifications are a plus.
• Understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, QA/QC, HACCP, GMP, SOP, 5S).
• Lift truck certification or ability to obtain certification (Powered Industrial Truck).
• Strong math skills and technical aptitude with equipment controls.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated work history and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bulk tanker and off-load operations.
• Collect raw dairy samples and perform sensory evaluation and physical testing.
• Report out-of-specs or deviations to supervisor.
• Safely operate lift truck and hook-up tanker.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate dairy records and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain hygiene.
