Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead dairy QA from raw milk intake to packaging. You will conduct inspections, manage data collection, and drive corrective actions to ensure compliance with HACCP and FSMA, while collaborating with production teams to safeguard product quality.

You will also participate in audits, implement new QA programs, and support the QA Manager as needed. Strong laboratory experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field related to QA
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and laboratory work
• Excellent PC skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control from raw milk intake to packaging
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure HACCP/FSMA compliance
• Coordinate with production teams to identify and address quality issues
• Collect samples for microbiology analysis and maintain records
• Lead quality programs (sanitation, SQF gaps) to meet US plant standards
• Perform regulatory audits and assist QA Manager during absences
