Job summary

UDA - United Dairymen of Arizona is seeking a Lab Technician to perform routine and specialized tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished dairy products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

This role requires strict adherence to SOPs, GLP, HACCP, and UDA policies, with a strong emphasis on data integrity, clean work practices, and teamwork. You must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, and communicate results clearly to management and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent required.
• Science/lab background would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tests on raw materials, in-process, and final products (solids, fat, pH, protein, moisture).
• Conduct antibiotic and aflatoxin testing.
• Maintain data integrity and strict adherence to SOPs, GLP, HACCP, and GDP.
• Collaborate with coworkers and operate safely in a laboratory environment.
• Work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends.
