Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor I for our Tempe, AZ milk facility. The role supervises production teams, maintains GMP and safety standards, and coordinates with cross-functional partners to optimize schedules and quality.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing inventory, and driving continuous improvement. Requires dairy experience, supervisory background in food production, and Lean principles; 60 lb lift capability is expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Degree preferred.
• Strong preference for Dairy experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience in a food production environment.
• Food manufacturing experience is a must have.
• One or more years of Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership background – direct a diverse unionized workforce.
• Ability to manage and develop associates.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and related apps.
• Ability to lift up to 60 LBS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMP compliance in all production processes and maintain hygiene.
• Lead, supervise, and support production associates; deliver performance evaluations.
• Train and enforce quality control standards; address quality issues.
• Track and audit inventory; coordinate with supply chain to optimize stock.
• Identify process improvements; implement changes to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Enforce safety protocols; conduct regular safety training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Train new production staff and provide ongoing skill development.
• Address and resolve production issues; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP).
• Coordinate maintenance for production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate management reports.
