Job summary

Albertsons is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Tempe Milk Plant at 1115 W Alameda Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282. Shift 1: 4 am–12:30 pm, Mon–Fri, with Saturday overtime possible. Interview on site with manager and team.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent; degree preferred.
• Two or more years supervisory experience in a food production environment.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a diverse unionized workforce.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 60 LBS.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
• Ensure GMP compliance and maintain hygiene standards.
• Track inventory and coordinate with supply chain.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety training.
• Communicate with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Train new staff and provide ongoing development.
• Address production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records and generate management reports.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA and HACCP standards.
