Job summary

Cacique Foods, LLC. seeks a Production Supervisor to lead team leads and drive plant procedures under the Production Manager. You will foster a collaborative environment with clear expectations, audits, and constructive feedback to ensure consistent performance.

You will oversee onboarding, training, scheduling, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating with QA, Maintenance, and Logistics to meet daily output goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, food engineering, production management, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive management experience in a cultured dairy manufacturing plant
• Certifications in HACCP and GMP preferred
• Hands-on experience with production line operations, quality control, and equipment troubleshooting
• Regulatory compliance and sanitation standards in food processing environments
• Technical knowledge of food production processes, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Organizational skills for managing schedules, inventory, and documentation
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Talent selection, onboarding, assimilation, and performance management of team members
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and other food safety regulations compliance
• Supervise and coordinate production schedules and staff to meet daily output goals; troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics teams
• Enforce health and safety policies and maintain a clean work environment
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Motivate team by empowering direct reports to own their responsibilities
• Identify training needs and ensure results
• Communicate with managers on performance, procedures, and policies for consistency
• Use KPIs to set and achieve team goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
