Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Production Supervisor in High Point, NC to lead hourly staff on the plant floor, schedule work, monitor processing steps, and ensure quality, safety, and GMP compliance while driving daily production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and coordination with maintenance, quality, and HR. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation as needed, emphasizing teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude and ability to coach/train staff.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, and direct production staff to meet daily goals.
• Monitor milk receiving, processing steps, and packaging to ensure quality and compliance.
• Oversee equipment performance and coordinate repairs and sanitization.
• Promote safe work behaviors; conduct investigations and report injuries to HR.
• Ensure GMP, food safety and sanitation requirements are followed and maintained.
