Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to lead the plant operations, including administration, production, processing, packaging, scheduling, sanitation, quality, safety and environmental performance.

You will coordinate with the Plant Manager and other departments, manage expenses, drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high safety standards, while guiding a team toward operating efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with minimum supervisory experience.
• 5+ years hands-on plant experience for internal candidates; 3+ years supervisory.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Budgeting and cost control proficiency; GMP familiarity.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the plant across administration, production, processing, packaging and scheduling.
• Direct overall manufacturing activities to meet customer requirements at the lowest cost while upholding safety and quality.
• Analyze operations and metrics to maintain high quality and safety standards.
• Manage expenses including shrink, labor, and overhead using CI techniques.
• Ensure SOPs are developed, updated, and followed; support audits and regulatory compliance.
