Job summary

You will manage scheduling, promotions, inventory, and budgets, while maintaining temperatures and food safety standards. This role requires strong communication and a customer-first attitude in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Retail/Grocery experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Make decisions related to hiring, discipline, and termination or provide input.
• Communicate department and job information to associates.
• Establish performance goals and empower associates to meet targets.
• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with questions.
• Inform customers of specials and offer product samples.
• Develop and implement a department business plan and promotions.
• Execute weekly/promotional plans and inform departments about in-store ads.
• Prepare seasonal critiques and assist with budgets and financial reports.
• Plan inventory, train staff on stocking and ordering, and manage price changes.
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain temperature logs.
• Report safety risks and incidents to management, supervise staff, and provide feedback.
