Kroger in North Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Dairy Department Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and ensure quality standards. You will supervise associates, schedule, train staff, and implement department plans in alignment with store goals.

You will uphold food safety regulations, manage budgets, monitor inventory, and create engaging promotions to enhance the customer experience. Ability to work under pressure and lead a diverse team is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Dairy experience preferred.
• Second language (verbal, reading and/or writing) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Promote trust and respect among associates, with a positive attitude.
• Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates.
• Establish performance goals for department and empower associates to meet or exceed goals and targets through teamwork.
• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume throughout hours of operation.
• Train and develop associates on performance of their job and participate in the performance appraisal process.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, food safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store, and by using knowledge of products to make suggestions.
