Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Dairy Frozen Management Assistant to support the Dairy/Frozen Department, supervising up to 10 associates and assisting the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.

The role requires basic education, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds; it includes training, floor monitoring, interviewing, training, stocking and customer service in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer skills with common software applications.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Assist the Department Manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; interview and train associates.
• Process/stock products to Dairy/Frozen standards; unload stock; reload salvage.
• Provide customer service and maintain clean, safe work areas.
