Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Dairy/Frozen Management Assistant to support the Dairy/Frozen Department and supervise up to 10 associates. You will help the Department Manager with planning, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations in line with company policies.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), 18+ years old, and strong interpersonal and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associates must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Assist the Department Manager with direction, coordination and evaluation of the department.
• Perform floor monitoring, interviewing and training associates; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Stock, stock processing and reloading salvage; maintain Dairy/Frozen standards and customer service.
