Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Dairy/Frozen Management Assistant to help lead the dairy and frozen departments. You will supervise up to 10 associates, assist the Department Manager with daily direction, training, and evaluation, and ensure smooth operations from stock loading to customer service.

The role emphasizes supervisory duties, floor monitoring, interviewing new staff, and maintaining department standards. 18+ years old with basic software skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Familiarity with inventory and office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in Dairy/Frozen.
• Support Department Manager with direction, coordination and evaluation.
• Perform floor monitoring, interviewing and training.
• Plan, assign and direct work; aid in performance appraisals.
• Stock, clean, unload stock and reload salvage as needed.
• Provide service and resolve issues to maintain standards.
