Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to stock and rotate items in the dairy and freezer sections, ensuring product integrity and excellent member service. You will assist with merchandising, inventory accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards in a fast-paced club environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in dairy/retail operations, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Knowledge of cold chain management and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer stock according to planograms to ensure consistent member experience.
• Keep cold chain integrity by monitoring temperatures and replenishing items.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and preserve product quality.
• Perform regular quality and date checks and remove expired items.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing across the dairy/freezer department.
• Support seasonal merchandising initiatives and uphold store standards.
