Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to stock and rotate dairy and freezer items, ensuring freshness and adherence to planograms. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support merchandising initiatives, and uphold food safety standards to deliver a positive member experience.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work on the shop floor with occasional heavy lifting. 18+ and prior retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and email.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Stock all dairy and freezer products according to planograms to maintain visual standards.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy by monitoring temperature and replenishing items.
• Rotate products using FIFO methods to reduce waste.
• Regularly check dates and product condition to uphold safety standards.
• Assist with seasonal merchandising and maintain clean, safe department areas.
