Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is hiring for a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, ensure proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity. This role supports merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with food safety standards while delivering excellent service to Members.

Responsibilities include maintaining planogram integrity, cold chain, rotation (FIFO), quality checks, and accurate signage.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure planogram integrity in dairy and freezer.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy.
• Execute proper product rotation (FIFO) to reduce waste.
• Conduct quality and date checks for safety and freshness.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance (cleaning of coolers, freezers, and shelves).
• Support product availability by monitoring in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing to avoid confusion at checkout.
• Support seasonal merchandising initiatives for sales growth.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures for consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
