Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of inventory, margins, and sales numbers.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with customers and team members.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Give direction to clerks in the department while overseeing presentation and sanitation standards.
• Process/stock products according to Sprouts dairy standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Dairy Department.
• Control inventory to maximize sales and minimize stock loss.
• Ensure proper rotation of products for freshness.
• Adjust prices within the department as needed.
• Coach and develop team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in special projects.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Address team member concerns and take corrective actions when needed.
• Create and manage schedules to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to staff.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional service.
