Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. seeks a Dairy Manager to lead the Dairy Department, driving sales, inventory control, and customer service excellence. You will direct clerks, manage scheduling, and ensure sanitation and safety standards on both the floor and in the backroom.

You’ll recruit, develop, and evaluate team members, handle pricing changes, and collaborate with store leadership to maintain high performance and an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of personnel, margin, weekly sales, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly attitude toward team members and customers.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
• Adhere to safety, health, and food-handlers regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily Dairy Department operations to maximize sales and profits.
• Supervise staff, schedule shifts, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to standards on the sales floor and backroom cooler.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Manage inventory and pricing changes within the department.
• Coordinate with store manager and HR on staffing and performance actions.
