Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Dairy Manager to oversee the Dairy Department in a fast-paced, customer‑oriented store. You will direct clerks, maintain sanitation, stock products, and drive sales while delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory control, coaching team members, handling price changes, and ensuring safety and compliance to meet store goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Good communication skills; ability to give and take direction participating in a team environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude towards team members and customers.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Dairy Department to maximize sales and profits.
• Direct clerks on presentation and sanitation on the sales floor and backroom cooler.
• Process/stock products according to Sprouts dairy standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide department coordination.
• Control inventory and adjust schedules to maximize productivity and minimize loss.
• Lead and coach team members; participate in performance reviews and promotions decisions.
