Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Dairy Manager to lead our Dairy Department, drive sales growth, uphold sanitation standards, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will direct clerks, manage inventory, coordinate scheduling, and coach teammates while partnering with store leadership to meet financial goals. The role requires safety compliance and ongoing collaboration with HR and management.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customers and team members.
• Able to operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, and material handling equipment.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct clerks and oversee presentation and sanitation of the Dairy Department on the sales floor and in backroom cooler.
• Process and stock products according to Sprouts dairy standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and drive department sales.
• Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Dairy Department.
• Control inventory to recommended stock levels and minimize stock loss.
• Rotate products for freshness and manage price changes within the department.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and promotions with Store Manager input.
• Lead regular in-store meetings and collaborate with HR on performance issues.
