You will coach staff, manage scheduling, control inventory, and deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers choosing healthy options on a busy floor. This role emphasizes leadership and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2+ years in retail grocery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers and team.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct clerks and oversee presentation and sanitation in the Dairy Department.
• Process/stock products according to Sprouts dairy standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Dairy Department.
• Control inventory to recommended stock levels to maximize sales and minimize losses.
• Rotate products for freshness; remove out-of-code items.
• Adjust pricing within the department.
• Coach and develop team; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings; recruit, hire and promote decisions with Store Manager.
• Address team member concerns and take corrective actions as needed.
• Create schedules to maximize productivity; communicate standards and product knowledge.
