Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a production operator for our 24/7 manufacturing facility. The role involves safe operation of production equipment, palletizing duties, and precise data entry into SAP, with strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

We value candidates with at least a high school diploma and 2+ years in food manufacturing; dairy experience is preferred. Forklift certification ability is required, and employment includes shift flexibility to cover days, swing, or night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing; dairy experience preferred.
• Understanding of SQF, HACCP, SOP, 5S, GMP.
• Strong math skills and ability to operate equipment controls.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of production equipment including automated case packing and palletizing.
• Perform hand-stacking of products and follow defined pallet patterns.
• Follow SOPs in detail and generate pallet labels according to production run and specs.
• Enter data accurately into SAP ERP and verify product codes and production dates.
• Identify out-of-spec product conditions and communicate per protocol.
• Operate a forklift and coordinate with packaging/warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Complete production records neatly and perform equipment change-overs and setup.
• Support internal and external audits and adhere to health, safety, GMP, and food safety procedures.
