Job summary

Heinen’s is seeking Retail Professionals in Illinois to join our Diamond Difference Standards team. You will prioritize daily tasks, learn Dairy/Frozen product knowledge, and collaborate with your team to ensure excellent customer service and accurate ordering.

This role emphasizes safety, standards, and ongoing development within a fast-paced grocery environment. Open to Part Time and Full Time with scheduling flexibility, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
• Sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work non-traditional five-day schedule, including weekends.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, hot or cold.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Write orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team in order to complete daily tasks, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
