FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS is seeking an administrative professional to support designated physicians at two Illinois locations, Geneva and Elgin.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with rotating evenings and weekends. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, and the position requires travel between locations, background checks, and pre-employment TB and drug testing.

IF this sounds like the type of team and environment you want to be a part of apply today!Position SummaryResponsible for providing administrative support to designated physicians, including answering telephones, performing registration duties, scheduling appointments, and updating patient accounts.Locations: Geneva and Elgin, Illinois (must be able to travel between locations)Status: Full-Time (40 Hours/week)Hours: Monday - Friday, including rotating evenings and rotating weekendsStarting Pay Range: $20 - $22/HourEssential Job FunctionsGreet and direct patients.Answer telephone callas and assist or direct callers as appropriate.Perform registration ensuring timely and accurate completion of documentation.Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and/or tests and assisting in obtaining necessary referrals.Maintain accurate and complete patient records.Facilitate internal communication regarding physician schedule changes and issues pertaining to patient care.Obtains accurate patient information when answering and returning telephone calls.Transfers calls and/or patient cases to the appropriate departments.Checks patients in using both electronic tools and paper forms to ensure all necessary patient information and documents are obtained, including insurance card/information, patient identification, physician and insurance referrals, and personal/work injury/third party information as necessary.Facilitates the scheduling and registration of Urgent Care (unscheduled) patients.Collects and processes payments keeping an accurate record of payments received.Performs other duties, as assigned.Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing.
