Job summary

Fox Valley Orthopedics seeks a Clinic Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic x-rays in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic across Geneva, Elgin, and Yorkville. You will ensure image quality, adjust positioning per physician orders, and maintain patient comfort and safety in a collaborative team.

Required AMA-approved radiologic technology education, ARRT (R) license, Illinois radiographer license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• AMA-approved radiologic technology program required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Illinois State Medical Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year of clinic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic x-rays in an orthopedic clinic setting.
• Ensure image quality and adjust positioning/parameters per physician protocols.
• Assess patient abilities and communicate to complete exams timely.
• Interact professionally with patients, physicians, management and team members.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and participate in QA/PI activities.
